Flav’s hit singles, popular show Dr. Love, and well attended social events has amassed him over 1 million followers on Instagram. Flav is the lead singer of GABEL whose most recent album, BeNi released in 2022.

TONYE GARRICK
British Born Nigerian songstress Tonye Garrick plays Ada and is also featured on the Unexpected Love Soundtrack. Tonye (@whoistonye) first gained recognition for her musical talent in 2011 where her emotional acapella “What About Us,”was featured at the Nigerian Youth Presidential debate. In 2013, she moved to Nigeria, signed with her first Label—Flytime Under Flytime— and released “Wait for Me.” Unexpected Love will debut Tonye's acting career. Her EP “The Journey” is set to be released in 2022.

Marie played by
NAOMY GRAND'PIERRE
Marie is played by Haitian Olympic Swimmer Naomy Grand’Pierre. As a retired athlete, Unexpected Love is Naomy’s (@naomyhgp) first feature film and will debut her acting career. Naomy gained recognition in the Haitian community in 2016 after making history as the first ever female to swim for Haiti at an Olympic games. Naomy is a writer and creative consultant who also contributed to the Unexpected Love project as a strategist and executive producer with Æra Hope, LLC..

Uncle Daniel played by
REGINALD CHEVALIER
Haitian born actor, Reginald Chevalier (@regichevalier) stars as Uncle Daniel in his [third feature film]. Based in Boca Raton, Florida, Reginald writes, produces and acts through his production company Chevalier United Entertainment (CUE3FILMS). His Haitian feature film, La Rebelle has gained recognition as “the most riveting directing and acting in a film production created in Haiti so far.”

Born in the US and raised in Nigeria, Ugonna Madueke (@ugkizzle ) is a budding serial entrepreneur who has successfully established multiple businesses under his Damal Group Portfolio. He has always been fond of the performance stage & theatre arts and has participated in multiple stage performances, as a MC/Compere, an actor, chorister, soloist and instrumentalist playing the jazz drums, samba/konga drums and bass guitar. Unexpected Love is Ugonna’s first feature film.
